Accuracy-awareness: A pessimistic approach to optimal control of triggered mobile communication networks

We use nonlinear model predictive control to procure a joint of mobility and transmission minimize total network communication energy use. The optimization problem is solved numerically in self-triggered framework, where the next update time depends on predicted state trajectory accuracy numerical solution. Solution must be accounted for any circumstance systems are run open-loop long stretches based potentially inaccurate predictions. These triggering conditions allow us place wireless nodes low ‘idle’ states extended periods, saving over 70% compared periodic policy consistently receive updates.
